Experimental Filters

Try new blocking rules before they ship

What it does

Get early access to filter rules that are still being validated, and help us catch problems before they reach everyone.

  1. Proposed 245 drafts
  2. Experimental 38 you're testing these
  3. Default 12,800 shipped to everyone
Rules move forward when they're stable. You're the validation step.
Try new blocking rules before they ship widely.

How it works

When enabled, Ghostery loads an extra set of filter rules that are still being tested. If something breaks, switch it off — the rest of your protection stays on.

What you get

  • Early access to new protections
  • Helps make Ghostery better for everyone
  • Easy to turn off if something breaks
